Scarlet Meltzer joined the litigation department at Brinen & Associates, LLC in its New York office as a Senior Litigation Paralegal. Ms. Meltzer is a diligent, ambitious, value-driven paralegal with experience in successfully supporting the caseloads of multiple attorneys. Her skills include meticulous research and documentation, multitasking, organization, and critical thinking.
Ms. Meltzer began her college career at Plaza College, where she maintained a high position in her school’s paralegal studies program. During her time at Plaza College, she interned at the Bagley Firm, P.C. and Renfroe Driscoll & Foster, LLP where she assisted her supervising attorneys with civil rights, personal injury, and family law related cases. At Plaza College, Ms. Meltzer received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies.
When Ms. Meltzer graduated, she began working as a paralegal for Wollmuth Maher & Deutsch, LLP, where she assisted her supervising attorneys with commercial litigation and bankruptcy related cases. During her time at Wollmuth Maher & Deutsch, LLP, Ms. Meltzer worked as a full-time employee and studied as a full-time student at SUNY Empire State College, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs with a concentration in Legal Studies.
After graduation from SUNY Empire State College, Ms. Meltzer sought a paralegal position that would challenge her professionally and expand her skills. In May of 2023, Ms. Meltzer began working for Brinen & Associates, LLC in the litigation department. Since then, Ms. Meltzer has expanded her skills through mentorship from her fellow team members and enjoy the challenges of her increased responsibilities where she feels intellectually stimulated.
