In October 2024, Niamh joined Brinen & Associates as a Law Clerk in the Corporate Department. Ms. Connolly assists attorneys in corporate, securities, and tax matters, with a focus on business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance. Niamh provides research and drafting support on share exchange agreements, private placements, and cross-border transactions, including those involving publicly traded companies. Niamh also supported attorneys advising corporate clients in the medical technology and life sciences sectors, contributing to entity structuring and corporate governance.  

In 2023, Niamh held a legal intern role at Eversheds Sutherland, LLP, where she worked in the Intellectual Property Department before transferring into the Commercial Litigation Department. In 2024, Niamh interned within the Private Client Department at Ireland’s largest corporate law firm, Matheson LLP. Prior to relocating to New York City, Niamh completed an internship in the Construction Department at A&L Goodbody, LLP, Ireland’s leading law firm. Niamh’s experience at Ireland’s leading corporate law firms allows her to approach matters with a global perspective. 

Niamh Connolly graduated from the University of Limerick with a bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B) in 2023. During her undergraduate, Niamh was awarded three University of Limerick Presidential Letters for Academic Excellence. During her time at the University of Limerick, Niamh was an active member of the Law Society and was the Co-founder and Co-chairperson of the University of Limerick Fashion Society. In tandem with her studies, Niamh held the position of legal researcher at Compliance & Risks Ltd, a global regulatory compliance firm, where she analyzed and reported international legislation across various industries including the pharmaceutical, technology and automotive industries.
