Martha S. Thrush is a Senior Associate of the Firm. Ms. Thrush manages the Firm’s practice in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Trust and Estate practice. Before joining the firm, Ms. Thrush was a seasoned plaintiff’s side personal injury litigator handling all aspects of the litigation matters from intake through discovery, motion practice. She assisted on several appeals to the various New York Appellate Divisions. Since joining the firm, Ms. Thrush translated her street-fighter skills to the sphere of corporate and commercial litigation.
Ms. Thrush has overseen all areas of litigation on all manner of topics – from the simple collection of monies owed to the most complex litigation spanning several jurisdictions and involving the intricacies of securities and corporate governance.
She is equally at home pursuing her clients goals in Federal, state, or Surrogate’s Court.
Ms. Thrush is licensed to practice in New York and the United States District Courts in the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York. Ms. Thrush was a Board of Regents Scholar at West Virginia University where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre. She received her Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 1998.
Ms. Thrush is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers’ Association.
