Brinen & Associates are proud to congratulate Sarah O’Sullivan and Zhe Zhu, law clerks with the firm who were recently notified that they had passed the New York State Bar Exam.
According to The New York State Board of Law Examiners, 9,779 candidates sat for the Bar Exam in July 2023. 6,481 passed, for an overall passing rate of 66%.
About Sarah O’Sullivan
A 2020 graduate of Ireland’s University of Limerick, Sarah O’Sullivan had already passed the FE-1 examinations required for entry to Blackhall Place and subsequent qualification as a solicitor in Ireland when she joined Brinen & Associates as a law clerk in June 2021.
Leveraging her experience in Corporate Litigation, Corporate Structuring, Mergers and Acquisitions, Estate Planning and Tax Controversies, Ms. O’Sullivan provides legal support for the firm’s litigation team and provides support and counsels corporate clients.
About Zhe Zhu
Zhe Zhu holds a double degree in Economics and Psychology from New York University and a graduate degree in Analytics from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. She earned her J.D. at the Fordham University School of Law.
Before embarking on her legal career, Ms. Zhu worked at Universal Processing LLC, a Fin-tech firm based in New York City. She is fluent in Chinese and English and calls both Shanghai and Hong Kong her hometowns. As a law clerk with Brinen & Associates, her international background and her education acquired in the U.S. allow Ms. Zhu to tackle cases in creative ways.
